On-Demand Backup Restore

Something is gone and you need yesterday back — a file deleted, a table truncated, a migration that ran against production instead of staging. You tell us what and from when, and we pull it out of the retained backups and put it back.

What you get

  • One restore from any backup point still inside your retention window
  • The recovered data staged beside the live copy first, so you confirm it is the right version before anything is overwritten
  • Database restores taken into a scratch instance, so a wrong guess about the time costs nothing but another attempt
  • A written note of what was restored, from which backup point, and what it replaced

What this does not cover

  • Data from before your backups started, or from a server that was never backed up. There is nothing to restore from, and buying this does not create one
  • Working out how the data was lost. A restore puts it back; a root-cause investigation is separate work
  • Repairing corruption that was already present in the last good backup
  • Anything we do not hold backups for, including data that lives only in a SaaS account or on a laptop

Who it fits

One bad afternoon that needs undoing. If you are not on a backup service yet, this cannot help you at all: Off-Site Backup Retention at $29 a month has to have been running first, and buying that is the only order that works.
