Performance Optimization Audit
Your application is slow and nobody can say which part. We measure it under traffic you would recognize rather than a synthetic benchmark — request traces, the slow query log, cache hit rates, what the browser is actually waiting on — and come back with a ranked list of changes and what each one is worth in milliseconds.
What you get
- Measurement under real traffic: traces from live requests, the slowest queries your database actually ran, and where the time goes in the browser
- A ranked change list, each entry carrying the time it saves and roughly what it costs to make, so you can stop partway down and still be better off
- The configuration-level wins applied during the audit — indexes, cache headers, connection pooling, compression — rather than written up for someone else to do
- Before and after numbers for everything we changed, so the rest of the list can be believed
- A report your own developers can work from without us
What this does not cover
- Implementing the findings that need code. The list is specific enough to hand to a developer, and that work is Software maintenance
- Rewriting the part of the application the report names as the problem
- CDN and edge caching setup, which is CDN Configuration and Tuning in Security and risk
- A promised improvement. If the measurements say the architecture is the limit, the report says so rather than inventing a figure we can hit
- The infrastructure the report recommends — a bigger instance costs whatever your provider charges for it
Who it fits
An application that used to be fast enough and is not any more, where nobody has measured why. If you are already on Growth or Business Critical, the monthly performance pass is inside that price — buy this when the monthly pass has stopped finding anything and the problem has not gone away.
